CEO Roundtable provides a venue for C-Suite executives to meet monthly with their own peer group in an atmosphere that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and encourages teamwork to accomplish individual goals. The program is designed to provide participants with their own confidential “board of advisors” who can assist with business challenges by presenting solutions for discussion.
Cobb Executive Women is always looking for new members who are at the executive level with their companies, have a strong record of community involvement, are members of the Chamber and are responsible for decision making and managing staff.
Cobb Young Professionals is a group within the Cobb Chamber of Commerce dedicated to the promotion and encouragement of young professionals in the work place. The Cobb Chamber is always on the lookout for a group of savvy, diverse young professionals under 40 that have strong educational backgrounds, a dedicated work ethic and a desire for career development strategy to become involved in CYP.
The Leadership Cobb Alumni Association (LCAA) sponsors Cobb Youth Leadership (CYL), a leadership program for rising high school juniors that focuses on developing leadership skills through interactive participation.
Honorary Commanders is a cooperative effort of the Cobb Chamber, Dobbins Air Reserve Base (ARB), General Lucius D. Clay National Guard Center, Navy and Marine Corps. The Honorary Commanders Association annually selects community and business leaders and pairs them with military commanders in a yearlong program, giving those leaders the opportunity to learn more about local military activities, their impact on our economy and various aspects of the national defense system.
Leading by example allows Leadership Cobb participants to directly impact the Cobb community. Fifty diverse and qualified individuals are selected annually to participate in this leadership development program. Leadership Cobb enhances personal and professional growth while participants gain awareness of current issues, community resources and the social, political and economic needs of the community.
The program consists of face-to-face meetings and events throughout the program year, including discussions to set and track goals. Mentors will provide young professional participants with expertise and insight needed to grow successfully in their career, while helping develop and achieve personal goals.
