Marketing & Communications Coordinator/Manager

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator or Manager is responsible for assisting with graphic design, AV/video, social media, photography, and public relations projects. This individual helps maintain workflow by managing the department’s administrative needs and specific daily, weekly, and monthly graphic design, livestream, photography, and writing projects.

Workforce Initiatives Coordinator/Manager

The Workforce Initiatives position for the Cobb Chamber and SelectCobb is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Cobb Workforce Partnership. This includes the coordination, facilitation, and program management of its various Sector Partnerships and Industry Council Groups; assisting in creating an internship program to connect students with job opportunities; collaboration with local school systems, educational institutions, job training programs, and with other local and regional workforce initiatives; and identifying sponsorship and grant opportunities to help the Cobb Workforce Partnership implement its mission.

The position also oversees existing Chamber programs such as Partners in Education, the GOAL Scholarship program, and support for other events/programs on a rotation basis with other Chamber staff members. Creating new programs on an as needed basis that connect our members with opportunities to develop local talent within our education systems in and around Cobb. This position assists the Director of Existing Industry and the Chief Operating Officer with Cobb Workforce Partnership strategy, fundraising, execution, and expansion.

Leadership Programs Coordinator/Manager

The Leadership Programs Coordinator or Manager is responsible for managing on of the Cobb Chamber’s premier leadership development programs, Leadership Cobb, and its alumni association. This position serves as the main point of contact between the community, class participants, alumni volunteers and Chamber leadership for all things related to Leadership Cobb; as well as planning and executing all Leadership Cobb programs, events, and meetings.

This position works closely with the Member & Community program team members as needed with events, all-hands on deck tasks, and best practice sharing, as well as the Member Development team to secure all large annual sponsorships.

Vice President of Advocacy and Government Relations

This position is responsible for overseeing the Cobb Chamber’s advocacy and government relations strategy, implementation and relationships at the local, state, and federal levels to enhance our business climate and advance our economy.
