Since our beginning in 2007, over 300,000 students and educators K-12 have experienced the arts through ArtsBridge. Our mission: "To Educate, Inspire and Motivate Georgia's Youth through the Arts" drives our daily focus to provide quality performing arts education programs for our private, public and homeschool students, K-12 in Georgia. In collaboration with local, national, international artists and arts organizations ArtsBridge paves the way for students to experience and benefit from the positive power of the Arts. Through Artsbridge, we fill a critical program and funding gap that many of our schools no longer provide given repeated budget cuts, exposing our students to arts experiences, providing educational learning and skill development and unique performance opportunities that benefit them in life, and that they need to grow. ArtsBridge provides arts education through four main programs. • Field Trips to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre bring over 25,000 students and educators each year to experience 12-14 arts education programs presented in collaboration with leading regional, national and international arts organizations. • Patterned after Broadway’s Tony Awards, the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards- The Shuler Awards, in its 8th year, celebrates excellence in high school musical theatre here in Georgia. Schools statewide (this year a record-breaking 59 schools from 26 counties) participate in this year-long unique professional learning experience that no one else in the state provides. • Master Classes and Educational Experiences, led by cast members from national touring Broadway shows and arts professionals are presented throughout the year to provide skill and talent development opportunities for our middle and high school students. • ArtsBridge Family Series programs expand our audience reach and allow families and deserving families to experience the arts through ArtsBridge.
