Partner Signings


Mountain View and Nutin But Fun

Mountain View Elementary was pleased to recently join with Nutin But Fun as a Partner in Education. The lesson? Partnering is not only rewarding, but also fun too! Nutin But Fun participated in the school’s Spring Fling and school spirit nights.

 

Addison and Jimmies, Zaxby's

It was a “cool” night in March when Addison Elementary and Jimmies Ice Cream and Yogurt Company became official Partners. The signing ceremony was followed by the school’s International Night. Addison Elementary also recently welcomed Zaxby’s as a PIE!

 

Powers Ferry and Southern Soccer Academy, Zep Industries

Powers Ferry Elementary School and Southern Soccer Academy became official Partners in Education on April 10. Representing Southern Soccer was Jordan Holmes. The school also signed a partnership agreement with Zep Industries that night. Representing Mr. Chris Leppo was his wife Kristy Leppo, the school nurse at Powers Ferry. Zep will be making a donation of cleaning supplies to the 2014-15 TOTY and Classified Employee of the Year.

 

McEachern and Almond Athletics

In January, Almond Athletics and McEachern High School signed a partnership agreement. Mr. Almond, a 2007 1st round NBA draft pick, is a McEachern graduate and excited to be having an impact on students and student athletes, not only on the court - but also in the game of life.

 

Riverside and American Legion

American Legion and Riverside Primary School became PIEs earlier this year. Volunteers from the Post have participated in a variety of programs including Read Across America, Thanksgiving Food Drive, Book Fair, provided school uniforms volunteering in classrooms and providing toys and gifts for children in need at Riverside.

 

Brumby and Doubletree Atlanta-Marietta

The Doubletree by Hilton, Atlanta-Marietta officially became a Cobb Chamber Partners in Education member and has pledged support to Brumby Elementary School. Upon execution of the agreement, they presented Brumby with 703 Box Tops for Education, 12,120 Coke Reward points, 1493 Community Coffee Cash for School UPC’s and some additional school supplies. Doubletree also brought their famous cookies for Teacher Appreciation Week.
