This informative event, held in partnership with the Council for Quality Growth and Revitalize Marietta, will define the need for revitalization and redevelopment in Cobb and highlight the financial tools and incentives that allow developers to maximize their investment. The event also presents the opportunity to partner with local and state elected officials to implement stronger redevelopment policies.
What is our vision for Cobb's future and what are we doing now that will attract future generations to the county? Speakers and panelists will include: Toussaint Kirk of the City of Griffin, Darryl Simmons of the City of Kennesaw and Steve West of Halpern Enterprises discussing Cobb's hidden treasures and local incentive tools; Jeff Shaw of the Marietta Gateway CID, Beth Sessoms of the City of Marietta and Mike LaFerle of The Home Depot discussing Franklin Road progress; and Ben Limmer of the Atlanta Beltline, Kyethea Clark of the City of Marietta and Ed McBrayer of the PATH Foundation discussing how to connect communities.
Our keynote speaker, Jeff Fuqua, founder and principal of Fuqua Development, will share his insight into redevelopment and revitalizing communities.
