Cobb County is a thriving blend of the best entertainment Atlanta has to
offer, from amusement parks, shopping and dining, to historic sites, recreation
and the arts.
The
phenomenally successful
Cobb Galleria Centre is home to 320,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting
space, adaptable for meetings and shows of almost any size. Next to the
Galleria, construction is in progression of the $145 million
Cobb Energy
Performing Arts Center. It will open in Fall 2007 and will host the finest
performing artists and touring shows.
Cobb
boasts several outstanding performing arts groups, including the
Cobb Symphony Orchestra,
The Georgia Ballet
and Theatre in the
Square. In addition, the county’s newest venue, the
Mable House
Barnes Amphitheatre, showcases nationally recognized performers and entertainers
throughout the spring and summer season in an intimate, acoustic setting. The
Cobb Playhouse and Studio
caters to children with shows almost every weekend of the year.
