Economic Development
The Chamber advocates for a more
competitive business environment for business people like
you. Working closely with the Development Authority of
Cobb County, Cobb County Government and Cobb’s cities, we
enhance our economy by bringing business and industry to
Cobb and helping established firms grow.
Our efforts have secured new jobs for Cobb and relocated
national and international headquarters to our community,
such as GE Power Systems, The Home Depot, MBNA and Russell
Corporation.

Workforce Development
In today’s marketplace, having the right people on your
team is critical. Our
Web site Career Center lets companies post their job
openings at
www.cobbchamber.org for a small fee, and those looking
for employment can access the job postings free of charge.
Conversational Spanish classes are
offered to help you communicate at work with an
increasingly diverse workforce.
Four institutions of higher
education in Cobb offer workforce training programs.
