DIRECTIONS TO AREA COUNCIL EVENTS
(Area Councils are normally held at the following locations.
Check the events calendar to confirm.)
Cumberland
Area Council Lunch:
Traveling NORTH on I-75:
Take Exit #258,
Cumberland Blvd. Turn LEFT at the light on to Cumberland Blvd. Go to Cobb
Galleria Parkway and turn RIGHT. Go through two lights crossing over Akers Mill
Road and follow the signs directly to Building 100, 17th floor.
Traveling WEST on I-285: Proceed to Exit #20 (I-75 North/South & Highway
41/Cobb Parkway) (Note: Do not take I-75, go straight to Highway 41/Cobb
Parkway). Get in the far left-hand lane to turn LEFT onto Cobb Parkway. Go
under the overpass. Turn LEFT at the second traffic light, which will be
Galleria Parkway. Follow the road about Ό mile and the 100 Building will be on
your LEFT.
East
Cobb Area Council Breakfast:
Indian
Hills Country Club, 4001 Clubland Drive From I-75 North, take
the Delk Road exit and turn right. Delk runs into Terrell Mill Road. Follow
Terrell Mill Road over to Lower Roswell Road (bear to the right). Take Lower
Roswell Road straight until you reach the intersection of Indian Hills Parkway.
(Sign reads IHCC Estates) Turn left onto Indian Hills Parkway and take the
first immediate left onto Clubland Drive. The club is located on the right hand
side.
Marietta
Area Council Breakfast:
The
Mansour Center, formally known as The Center for Family Resources
995 Roswell Street Take exit 263 off I-75 towards Marietta/Southern
Tech. Merge onto the South GA 120 Loop, going
west towards Marietta. Take right at Hwy. 41/CobbParkway. Follow to
Intersection of Hwy. 41 and Roswell St. (Big Chicken is on the right). Take left
on Roswell Street. Center for Family Resources is one block down on right.
Northwest
Cobb Area Council Breakfast:
Marietta Country Club, 1400 Marietta Country Club Drive, Kennesaw
Travel North on Interstate 75. Take exit #259, Barrett Parkway, and turn left
(west) onto Barrett Parkway. Travel approximately 3.3 miles and turn right on
Stilesboro Road. Turn left after 9/10 of a mile on to Marietta Country Club
Drive. Take the first left into the clubhouse parking lot.
Smyrna
Area Council Breakfast:
Smyrna
Community Center, 200 Village Green Circle located off Atlanta Road
between Windy Hill Road and Spring/Concord Road.
It is located in the complex next to Smyrna City Hall and the Smyrna
Library. From I-75, head west on
Windy Hill Road (Exit 260) until you reach Atlanta Road.
Turn left, heading south on Atlanta Road about ½ mile. The Village Green complex will be on the right.
South
Cobb Area Council Luncheon:
Coach George
E. Ford Center From Atlanta: Take
I-20 West to Exit 44: Thornton
Road/Camp Creek Parkway. Turn right
onto Thornton Road and travel approximately 9 miles to Sailors Parkway.
Turn right and travel to the 1st traffic light.
Turn right onto New Macland Road. Travel
to Marietta Street and turn right. Go
1 block to Dillard Street and turn left. Go
1 block to Atlanta Street and turn left The
center is on the right.
From Marietta:
Take Powder Springs Road west. In
Powder Springs follow the signs to Historic Downtown, veering left at Sailors
Parkway and staying on Powder Springs Road. Travel through 2 traffic lights and turn left at the next
block onto Dillard Street. Go 1
block to Atlanta Street and turn left. The
Center is on the right.

The reception hall is behind the main building.
