LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Leadership Cobb Alumni Members,

We celebrated our 25th Anniversary on May 31, 2008 and based on all the feedback a wonderful time was had by all. Without the dedication and the generosity of our planning committee and sponsors the celebration would not have been possible.

Sincerely,

Toria Morgan ('99)
LCAA President, 2008-2009

LCAA MEMBERSHIP

WHO IS THE BEST CLASS EVER?  It just might be the class with the highest participation in the Leadership Cobb Alumni Association.
Service to the community should continue beyond your class year and the Alumni Association plays an important role in making this possible.
Your annual dues of only $40 are the sole support of this organization. When paid prior to the deadline of Monday, Sept. 15 you will receive the complete alumni directory, which, in itself, is priceless!
Let's all pull together to continue our efforts to make Cobb the best place in the country to live, work and play! There is no better way to say "thank you" to the founders of this organization than by your continued support!
Click here to prove that your class is in fact, THE BEST CLASS EVER!

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Great opportunities are currently available to sponsor key LCAA networking events.
Opportunities include hosting one of our four breakfast meetings, hosting the annual Summer Social, and hosting a portion of the annual Christmas party. Don’t miss out on these excellent opportunities to feature your company among Cobb County’s brightest leaders. As a sponsor you will have the opportunity to:

  • Give sponsor remarks at the event you are sponsoring

  • Distribute marketing materials regarding your company

  • Advertise your company on each table

  • Advertise your sponsorship in the LCAA E-Newsletter

Sponsorship opportunities start at $500. Please contact our program chairman Jason Waters ('06) at (770) 403-8787 or jasonwaters@gmail.com  to reserve an event.
   Thank you for your support!

PROGRAM EVENTS

Our meetings this year will once again be at 7:30 a.m. at the Georgian Club. We are very appreciative to our immediate past president Mitch Rhoden ('03) for allowing us the opportunity to have such a centrally located meeting place.
Our first program will be Wednesday, Sept. 17 and our speaker will be Georgia’s Secretary of State Karen Handel. She was elected in November 2006 and sworn in to office on January 8, 2007 as Georgia's first Republican Secretary of State.
The Secretary of State office handles elections, but more importantly the constitutional office oversees corporations, securities, professional licensing boards, as well as controlling the state archives and the Capitol museum.
Handel has been lauded for her leadership abilities in several publications including Georgia Trend Magazine’s “One of the 100 Most Influential Political Leaders in Georgia;” Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “Most Influential Atlantans;” and B2B Magazine’s “Georgia’s Diva,” an award recognizing the state’s leading business women.
Please make plans now to attend our first LCAA breakfast, click here to make a reservation.
