The Cobb Chamber of Commerce
offers a new
benefit providing small
and medium-sized business members with access to
discounted health insurance premium rates. The
discounts range from three to five percent. The program,
called MemberCare Alliance of Cobb County, is being
offered through a partnership with Purchasing Alliance
Solutions, Inc. and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia (BCBSGa).

The program utilizes large group buying power to
negotiate favorable cost savings for businesses with two
to 50 employees. Chamber members can choose from a wide
range of coverage options tailored to meet the needs of
their employees. MemberCare Alliance of Cobb County
offers access to the full range of managed care and
traditional group insurance products from BCBSGa.
Chamber members can also take advantage of a variety of
other discounted insurance plans from several
high-quality insurance carriers.
“The Cobb Chamber is responding to the concerns of our
small and medium-sized business members about health
insurance costs,” says Don Beaver, chief operating
officer and senior vice president of economic
development of the Cobb Chamber. “This program offers
our members premium discounts that will positively
impact their bottom line.”
In order for a business to take advantage of this
benefit, it must be a Cobb Chamber member.
