Dear Chamber members, Sharon Mason

This month at the Chamber, we are implementing a new and exciting email strategy thanks to the feedback that many of you gave us during our latest strategic planning process. We hope this will help our members receive fast, useful information while reducing the amount of emails they receive. With the strategy now in effect, we are saying goodbye to this monthly newsletter, but have already created redesigned, subject specific emails that we are looking forward to sharing with you as part of our strategy. To learn more about this email strategy, view our Member Services section.

At our June First Monday Breakfast, we celebrated our 2018 Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year and our Businesses to Watch. The Service Fort was named our 2018 Small Business of the Year and we inducted the 2017 Small Business of the Year winner, Blue Sky Exhibits, into the Small Business Hall of Fame. To view the full list of winners, click here.

We appreciate your continued investment to our Chamber. We could not do what we do without your support!

Sincerely,

Signature

Sharon Mason
President & CEO

  • We have a goal to reduce the number of emails by 500 by the end of the year.
  • You'll receive fewer individual emails promoting some of your favorite Chamber events, such as Area Councils, First Monday Breakfast, Cobb Young Professionals and Cobb Executive Women events.
  • We are eliminating the Chamber's monthly e-Newsletter, CURRENT, and introducing two weekly emails to keep you updated on all things Cobb Chamber:
    • The Breakdown--a weekly briefing on how to best utilize your membership through the latest program offerings, events and more. Look for The Breakdown in your inbox on Mondays.
    • The Chamber Planner--a helpful list of Chamber and community events slated for the upcoming week. Look for The Chamber Planner in your inbox on Thursdays.
  • Another tool we're using is thoughtful design. Now, each type of email message you receive from the Chamber will have its own distinct look.

  • Check out Elevate 2018

Recently, we introduced our newest event: Elevate 2018, presented by Delta Community Credit Union! Previously known as Business Expo, Elevate 2018 takes a traditional expo to the next level, creating even more opportunities to engage Chamber members and the Cobb business community. Join us on August 23 at the Cobb Galleria Centre from 2 to 7 p.m.

Why Elevate? This reimangined expo is designed to serve as both personal and professional development for exhibitors, sponsors and attendees, by providing a networking showcase event combined with impactful learning opportunities.

Attendees can take part in a few ways: attend the breakout sessions from 2 to 5 p.m.; attend the open networking social from 5 to 7 p.m.; or attend both! For more information on Elevate 2018, contact Mary Beth Hellmann at 770-859-2359 or mhellmann@cobbchamber.org.
