Dear Chamber members, Sharon Mason

Spring is here! It's also the beginning of the Braves season and the conclusion of the legislative session. At the Capitol, we have been advocating for issues that enhance our business climate. We thank our legislators for the many accomplishments to continue making this the best place to live, work and play. And with the next phase of our Select Cobb economic development strategy launched, we look forward to continue working with our many partners for more job creation.

This spring also provides exciting and engaging events, programs and opportunities for #ChamberConnects. Various Area Councils, Business After Hours, luncheons, socials and workshops are all events where the Chamber can connect you to new business leads and opportunities. Make sure to check out our Chamber calendar so you and your team don't miss any opportunity.

We appreciate your continued involvement!

Cobb County Hosts 2018 Red Carpet Tour

On April 4-7, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2018 Red Carpet Tour. Each year, business leaders from around the world visit different regions of Georgia and Cobb County was this year's host. The Cobb Chamber was invited as a guest for the 2018 tour and helped showcase Cobb's business community and build relationships with tour attendees.

At this four-day, invitation only event, attendees are paired with a Georgia industry leader to learn more about doing business in the state. This year, attendees stayed in Cobb and visited surrounding businesses to gain a better perspective on how we do business.

The Red Carpet Tour is a premier event designed to showcase Georgia's thriving business community. The tour was established in 1960 and generated more than tens of billions in investment for the state. In addition, it has established tens of thousands of jobs around the area.
