We're Rolling Out a New Email Strategy
The Cobb Chamber is excited to announce our new member email strategy. During our 2017 strategic planning process we heard you--loud and clear--that the Chamber sends too many emails. For the past few months, our team has been diligently working to find ways to refine our strategy and save your inboxes!
Here's more information about the changes you'll experience:
We have a goal to reduce the number of emails by 500 by the end of the year.
You'll receive fewer individual emails promoting some of your favorite Chamber events, such as Area Councils, First Monday Breakfast, Cobb Young Professionals and Cobb Executive Women events.
We are eliminating the Chamber's monthly e-Newsletter, CURRENT, and introducing two weekly emails to keep you updated on all things Cobb Chamber:
Another tool we're using is thoughtful design. Now, each type of email message you receive from the Chamber will have its own distinct look.
- The Breakdown--a weekly briefing on how to best utilize your membership through the latest program offerings, events and more. Look for The Breakdown in your inbox on Mondays.
- The Chamber Planner--a helpful list of Chamber and community events slated for the upcoming week. Look for The Chamber Planner in your inbox on Thursdays.
The Chamber staff is dedicated to helping your business thrive so that our community can flourish. We look forward to offering you more valuable communication. Our team will roll out the new strategy on June 25. In the meantime, if you'd like to update your communication preferences, contact Madeline Henriques at firstname.lastname@example.org or 770-859-2344.
We've Named the 2018 Small Business of the Year
Congratulations to The Service Fort, LLC for being named our 2018 Small Business of the Year!
On Monday, we celebrated the 2018 Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year and Businesses to Watch. At the breakfast, we also inducted the 2017 Small Business of the Year, Blue Sky Exhibits, into the Small Business Hall of Fame. Join in the celebration and congratulate these companies for their hard work and service to Cobb.
The Service Fort is a family owned and operated company providing environmentally friendly janitorial and maintenance services. Over 14 years, Jeremy Fort has built a family of dedicated professionals who find pride in an industry where the hours are long and the customers are slow to show their appreciation. One way The Service Fort outshines its competition is through its partnerships with local vendors, such as Georgia Pacific, GoJo Foam Soap and General Paper. These partnerships bring high quality products at low prices in an expeditious manner when clients experience emergency cleaning needs. Strategic partnerships have contributed to The Service Fort's 95% client retention rate.
