Teacher for a Day
The Teacher for a Day program will take place on Thursday, Sept. 30. This program will give you the opportunity to shadow a Cobb County or Marietta City public school Teacher of the Year for a full day and observe the challenges and strengths of our educational systems. The program will help the community better understand our schools and empower them to support the educational process in
Cobb County. Participants will report to their assigned school before the first “bell” and stay until the last “bell.”
Once assignments are made, your host teacher will contact you to arrange a specific schedule. On the day of the program you will shadow your host teacher and assist students in learning. You will also be able to participate in activities such as overseeing recess, hall and cafeteria duty.
