International Trade Promotion
The Cobb Chamber of Commerce's Business Resource Center in conjunction with the University of Georgia's Business Outreach Service assists local companies by providing data and market research for particular products or services for potential markets around the world.
One-on-one international business consulting is available to businesses looking to increase sales through exports. Rick Martin, International Trade Consultant with UGA's Business Outreach Services, is able meet with clients at the Cobb Chamber of Commerce or their place of business.
The Cobb Chamber and UGA's Business Outreach Services also provide the ExportGA program, an intensive four-month export-training program which allows export-ready companies to develop their skills through a series of six workshops on export methodology. By utilizing these skills throughout the program, new international sales opportunities are identified.
Cobb Chamber members are offered a 20 percent discount on membership to the World Trade Center Atlanta.
