Discounted Group Health Insurance
One of the benefits of your Cobb Chamber membership is MemberCare Alliance of Cobb, an insurance program that makes available group health insurance and other employee benefit products at reduced premium rates. This program is the Chamber's response to concerns of our small-and medium-sized business members about health insurance costs, we are part of a statewide network of Chambers of Commerce who have used their large-group buying power to negotiate reduced
premium rates for business members.
Here's how you can save money:

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia (BCBSGA) offers group health insurance to member businesses with two to 50 employees featuring premium discounts of up to 5%. BCBSGA also offers group dental plans that give you the option of going to any dentist you choose. There is no premium discount, but you wil save money if you go to a dentist contracted with BCBSGA.

Companion Life Insurance Company offers a variety of insurance products to Chamber member businesses at a 5% premium discount. They include: group dental insurance, short-term disability, term life insurance, and accidental, death and dismemberment insurance. They also offer long term disability and voluntary dental insurance at competitive rates.

Greater Georgia Life Insurance Company provides a 10% premium discount on group term life insurance, and accidental, death, and voluntary term life for all member businesses.

The Long Term Care Planning Center of Georgia makes available long term care insurance to both member businesses and individual memebers (and their families) at discount premium rates.
