Greg Morgan

   Greg Morgan of Maulding & Jenkins, LLC is the Cobb Chamber's 2011 Chair-Elect.

   Greg is the Partner-in-Charge of the Atlanta office of Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC. In addition to his administrative duties related to running the office, he is responsible for serving clients in the General Service area of the firm. His focus is closely held, family owned businesses in various industries. As client executive, he is responsible for the delivery of services to the client by the M&J team. Those services include the traditional audit / review / compilation financial reporting, tax planning and compliance, general management advice, information systems advice, family succession planning, and estate planning.

   Within the firm, Greg also serves as the General Services Coordinator. He is currently a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and is also the Firm’s Deputy Managing Partner.

   Greg joined Mauldin & Jenkins in June 1979 in their Albany office. He was transferred to Macon in 1984 and to Atlanta in 1988. Greg became a Partner in 1985.

   Greg is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the North Georgia chapter of the GSCPAs, the National Association of College and University Business Officers, the Governmental Financial Officers Association, and the Georgia GFOA. He is currently the chairman of the GSCPA’s Professional Ethics Committee.

   Greg received the Georgia Southern University Outstanding Accounting Alumni award for 2000.

   Greg has been active in each community. In 2010, he served as the Cobb Chamber's Finance Committee Chair and has served as the Small Business Division Chair. He is also a member of the Cobb Chamber’s Board of Directors and Executive Committees. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. He is a member of the Cobb Chamber Chairman’s Club.

   Greg is a member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta.
