Rob Garcia
Rob Garcia, President and COO, Bank of North Georgia, is serving as Chairman of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce for a second consecutive term in 2011.
Garcia has 26 years of commercial banking experience with a concentration in commercial real estate and commercial and industrial lending. In 2010, he was charged with leading a team of Commercial Real Estate bankers in growing and managing the division’s extensive commercial real estate portfolio. Previously, he served as Regional Community Executive with responsibility for growing deposits and loans in the Cobb and Buckhead region and overseeing the operations of the six branches. He joined BNG in 2006 as a result of the merger with Riverside Bank where he served as Executive Vice President and Senior Lending Officer.
Garcia is a graduate of Auburn University and is very active in the local community. He is a Board Member of the Atlanta Regional Commission, Cobb County Board of Elections and Council for Quality Growth.
